My name is Heidi, I’m 40 years old and from the Merrimack Valley area here in Massachusetts. I’ve been divorced now for close to 4 years (was married for 13) and during that time the only serious relationship I had was with another female. I am very much open to a relationship with someone male or female. I find myself more attracted to the energy I feel when I meet someone and that can come from anywhere. I have 3 boys, they live primarily with their father but they’re still a big part of my life. Whether I involve someone new with them, really depends on the type of relationship we end up developing. I am a HUGE music fan and listen to everything from rap & hip hop to country and Motown. One of my favorite things to do is going to concerts. I’m a sports fan, with the exception of possibly golf and hockey. I love stand-up comedy, movies, camping, festivals and fairs! I enjoy hiking and the cliched long walks on the beach. I’m polite, compassionate, generous, a pacifist and there’s nothing I enjoy more than making someone laugh. I’m here because I don’t know what
comes next for me in life.
In my most ideal scenario I would like to find someone willing to rent me an apartment or at least help cover my expenses. If I was able to get out of the cycle of simply renting rooms, and into a larger place than I could
have my kids on more weekends/holidays etc. Not to mention the opportunity for more privacy when it comes to my relationships. I’ve had roommates ever since my divorce and I’m OVER it lol! There’s plenty more room for improvement in my quality of life but housing is certainly my biggest issue.
Also I don’t drive so would need you to either come to me or I have no problem taking the train nearby out of Newburyport if it brings me closer to you. Also In terms of full disclosure I am in recovery. I have been sober for more than 5 months and do not consume any drugs or alcohol. I am 420 friendly but won’t participate in that at least until I graduate the program I’m in. That being said I do have plenty of freedom here and plenty of time and ability to carry on personal relationships. I’d love to be with someone who inspires me to continue on a positive path and to just do the next right thing. Don’t let this be what scares you off, I have no regrets about my past because I’ve been able to learn from it. Turned negatives into positives.
